Based on a semi-circular bronze plaque dating from the 5th to 7th centuries, subtle sculpting and faceting enhances the candlestand’s motif of scrolls and triskeles, Greek for ‘three legged’, and the descriptive term for the triple spiral pattern.
Fits tapers with a standard 2.2cm/0.88in diameter.
